Pay your bills on time, this will prove to the credit bureaus that they are in control of their finances and are not a high risk borrower. This applies to their household's Bills and loans you have as a car or other finance loan.


They do not apply for new credit lines. Any new credit application that will lead to an inquiry on your credit report. Too many questions in your credit report can cause damage to your credit rating. Multiple applications for loans and credit cards are seen by the bureaus credit as desperate for money.


Try to use only half of any line of credit that you have at your disposal. This shows that the credit bureaus who is in control of their finances and is not necessary to achieve the maximum spending limits on their credit cards. If you can pay any card of credit in its entirety, then, do so, but do not close the accounts.
